Veritas, our ministry to 9th-12th graders, comes for the Latin word for "truth." In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life." Notice that truth is the crux of this saying. The only way to life is through the truth. This group will help our teens to seek always the truth of Jesus Christ and His Church in the midst of a world of appealing falsities.
6:09, our ministry to 6th-8th graders, comes from John 6:1-15...the story of the multiplication of the loaves and the fish. In verse 9, we are told that it was a boy who brought the gifts that Jesus used to feed the thousands, despite the unbelief of Jesus' disciples. Our young people bring countless gifts that God uses to bless the masses. This group will open our jr. highers' eyes to the gifts they can offer the world for God's glory.
